Our History | Daughters of Deborah, Inc.

Est. 2005

Daughters of Deborah (DOD) Inc. was established on April 23, 2005, by Dr. Gail Fulgham along with 29 “Women Empowering Women”; serving the community through outreach and missions. For over a decade, we have impacted many lives throughout the Jackson Metro area, as well as national and international arenas.

Our Community Initiatives/Projects include: 

  • Meals on Wheels (for low-income individuals and families)
  • College Scholarships
  • Breast Cancer Awareness Activities
  • Personal Care Baskets and personal needs items for local homeless shelters
  • Contributions supporting cancer research through the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the American Heart Association
  • Annual Christmas Toy Drive
  • Annual Donation Drive | Dress for Success
  • Support of local nursing homes and the National Wounded Warrior Program
  • Annual Back to School Activities | Jackson School District
